For this project, the goal was to design a magazine spread featuring a graphic designer or artist who inspires me. I chose Shigeo Fukuda.

His work has always stood out to me for its clever use of visual illusions and bold, conceptual messaging, especially in the context of post-war commentary. I wanted the layout to reflect his style without imitating it, so I focused on clean structure, intentional negative space, and subtle nods to his optical play.
